No.
Please check your artwork thoroughly before submitting
it for printing.
8.
Can I order my cards in sizes other
then what's stated?
No.
We only print Business Cards in the standard 86mm x 52mm size.
9.
Will the colour of my printed product match 100%
to the original colour of my artwork?
No.
It
is a known fact within the printing industry that 100%
process colour accuracy is not presently possible with the
current print technology. Therefore, even if a printing
company were
to employ highly experienced personnel including the latest
press technology, the outcome of colour of the printed
product will always differ from the original artwork. The
level of difference however is subject from printing company
to printing company.
Other
factors that may cause colour deviation:
i)
Paper Stock
– the quality of paper, its surface and brightness can
affect exact outcome of printing colours.
ii)
Humidity Levels – damp weather can cause saturation of ink colours.
iii)
Make of Press Machines – different press machines produce different colour
results.
iv)
Monitor Displays and Colour Settings – unmatching calibration of monitor colour or colour
settings (RGB, CMYK) can misrepresent final colour of
output.
EXCARD
uses international colour measurement standards (densitor)
and has a process colour combination tolerance of ± 0.10
density. While we do not guarantee 100% colour match of your
artwork or reprints, we endeavour to minimize colour
deviation in output by applying DeltaE 8 (a printing
standard to measure CMYK colour combination consistency). To
ensure DeltaE 8 standards are met in all our products, our
QA department utilizes X-Rite Densitometer colour
measurement equipment. We are one of the few printers in
Malaysia that are equipped with this state-of-the-art
machine.
Members are also advised to
make provisions for the discrepancy in quality between
artwork that is printed using a laser or ink jet
printer, and artwork printed using commercial offset
press.
10. Can
I use EXCARD to print anything I want on my Business
Cards?
Yes you can, as long as what you print on
does not conflict with the printing and
publication law of Malaysia and the country of origin of
the order. EXCARD will not print jobs that contain offensive
literature or images. This includes information that are
politically, religiously or racially, sensitive. EXCARD will not be
responsible for any infringement of artwork content.
